Also, Daeran's dialogue is awesome. Sosiel buffed with Cleric spells is not mediocre melee-wise. Not by a long shot. And a lot of people are talking about late game, but when a new spell level first opens to Daeran, he gets very few spells immediately. Whereas when Sosiel gets a new level, he has access to every spell of that level.Sosiel sucks, so you'll live without him. Without Daeran, it'll be harder without a dedicated healer that can instant heal. Played 3 of 5 times with Sosiel and was totally satisfied with his abilites. If you mean his personality, well tastes are different. And you have to invest heavily in his romance until he finaly starts sucking....

This build seems solid: uses Impossible Domain to add Animal so he gets a pet. Or use the Respec mod to just turn him into this build which is what they really want. I took Domain Zealot on him. He's got 8 casts of the Good & Luck domain touch spells, which are actually pretty solid buffs when they're made Swift.
